Dogs are very welcome at Hillside Village and up to two or three (our larger properties) may stay depending on the size of the dogs (for example we may require that guests who have two larger dogs stay in one of our larger properties), We as a result do require as apart of the booking process for guests to inform us of the breed of their dog(s) as well as the dog's name (so we can welcome them personally on arrival).

The Literary Institute Beach is dog accessible at anytime throughout the year, great for barbequing in the summer and swimming throughout the year, go and have a dip before breakfast and take your dog(s) too! The small pebbles are great on the feet, the beach is sandy when the tide is fully out.

Aberdovey Hillside Village is a wonderful place to bring your dogs, no only the dog friendly accommodation and that most properties have enclosed gardens or outside spaces and extensive ground to enjoy, it is a great place from which to enjoy Aberdovey's 4 miles of sandy beach and walks into the hills above as well as in the area generally. How far is the beach from Aberdovey Hillside Village?
Aberdovey Hillside Village is under 2 minutes walk to the Literary Institute beach, which is a great place to take your dog for a swim any time of the year. About five minutes away is the start of Aberdovey's miles of sandy beach, on which dogs are also allowed throughout the year, though there is is a section which dogs are not permitted next to the jetty from April to September. Are there any restrictions on when dogs are allowed on Aberdovey's beach?
Aberdovey has a fantastic sandy beach that extends for miles from its carpark on the sea front adjacent to the jetty. The Aberdovey Promenade extends along the sea side of the carpark between it at the beach, from the end of the promenade dog owners can access the beach without restriction throughout the year. an area adjacent to the jetty dogs are not permitted between April and September.
