Here at Hillside Village we understand that your four legged friends are a member of the family and that they should enjoy their stay with us as much as you do, for starters dogs get welcome packs too!

Dogs are very welcome at Hillside Village and up to two or three (our larger properties) may stay depending on the size of the dogs (for example we may require that guests who have two larger dogs stay in one of our larger properties), We as a result do require as apart of the booking process for guests to inform us of the breed of their dog(s) as well as the dog's name (so we can welcome them personally on arrival).

Aberdovey's amazing Dog friendly miles of sandy beaches and sand dunes
The above photos show the 12 months of the year access from the promenade that runs along the beach side of the carpark to the 4 miles of dog friendly sandy beach and dunes. The part of the sandy beach that is prohibited to dogs from1 April to 30 September is adjacent to the jetty and Promenade, dogs are permitted in that area at other times. In addition to the access off the western end of the promenade from 1 April - 30 September, there are numerous other access points to the 4 miles of sandy beach dog owners can use with their dogs. Our Walking Maps below AHV Walking Map 01 and 02 show these.
The Literary Institute super Dog friendly beach a stones throw from Aberdovey Hillside Village
The Literary Institute Beach is dog accessible at anytime throughout the year, great for barbequing in the summer and swimming throughout the year, go and have a dip before breakfast and take your dog(s) too! The small pebbles are great on the feet, the beach is sandy when the tide is fully out.
