WALRUS is just the place to relax, unwind and enjoy the many wonderful things Aberdovey and the local area have to offer. Its comfortable design and breath-taking views make it perfect for couples, babies and toddlers, particularly with a young family.
WALRUS sleeps 3 in two bedrooms with a south facing terrace and a side terrace to the east. It is all on one level.
WALRUS is also frequently booked as part of a multi-property booking with other properties at Hillside Village. An example of this is with Otter, with Grandparents staying in Walrus and their children and grandchildren in Otter.

WALRUS is super dog friendly, 2 dogs may stay with their owners Hillside Village welcomes dogs to stay with us they get their own special welcome. Check out the DOGS page on our website. Walrus has an enclosed and gated area.

WALRUS is particularly suitable for those looking for a property that is accessible for those with limited mobility. All rooms are on a single level. Access is at Ground Floor level, there is a level threshold through the patio windows on to the terrace. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, and bath seats can be provided if required, as with a raised toilet seat. The access from where a car can park to drop off, is via a level path navigable by a wheelchair, just over 4 metres from the front door.

WALRUS’ terrace is a great place to sit and relax and soak in the amazing, ever-changing, south facing sea views of the Dyfi (Dovey) estuary, hills, mountains, Cardigan Bay. Check out our two WEBCAMS on our website, they are set up to pan from East through South to the West and back again 24/7.

WALRUS is one of our smaller apartments, it is ideal for couples, young families and those with restricted mobility. It has two terraces one on the southern side and one on the east.

LIVING ACCOMMODATION
Walrus is one of our smaller apartments, it is ideal for couples, young families and those with restricted mobility. It has two terraces one on the southern side and one on the east.
The lounge includes a leather sofa and armchair, a TV with digital freeview.
The dining table provides seating for three.

The kitchen has a small fridgefreezer, electric hob - oven and microwave. A full schedule of other items is provided at the time of booking.
TWO BEDROOMS
1x double & 1x single bedroom.
Bedroom 1 - Double bed; bedside tables; Dressing room adjacent with chest of drawers and built in wardrobe, space for cot.
Bedroom 2 - Single bed and chest of drawers is off the living space.
BATHROOM
The bathroom has a shower over the bath, the bathroom is accessed via Bedroom 1.

PARKING AND ACCESS
Parking is in the Guest Car Park, one parking space is allocated to Walrus, additional parking spaces subject to availability. The property is all on one level. Walrus is very accessible and has an easy to accommodate threshold to the southern terrace.
Generally in respect of all our properties the lounges are comfortably furnished with sofas and armchairs, coffee tables and TV with free-to-air digital. Beds are made up prior to arrival, with pillows, duvets and all bed linen (no bath or hand towels are provided). Whether properties have more than one bath / shower room and its content is specified for each property on their page. All kitchens are equipped with electric or gas hobs & ovens, microwave ovens, toasters, automatic kettles, refrigerator, most have separate freezers and a comprehensive range of cooking utensils. All utility costs are inclusive. Washing machines and dryers are in the guest laundrette off the Terrace Lounge.

WI-FI AND SMART TVs
We know that being able to connect to the outside world is part of life today and particularly important for families to have a Wi-Fi network they can connect to for their children. We are pleased to say that with a combination of our Superfast Broadband transmitted through numerous access points and our EE 5G hubs connected to a 5G transmitter in line of sight across the estuary we have this covered. We are in the process of making all our TV's, Smart TVs for 2024. In addition to EE having a 5G service, all the other networks provide good 4G indoor and outside service to us.

We have several properties that are accessible for those with restricted mobility, and can provide shower or bath seats and raised toilet seats. For young families cots and high chairs are available. It is a wonderful place for just relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet and the ever-changing views.
