It's spacious, comfortable design and breath-taking views make it the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the many wonderful things Aberdovey and the local area have to offer.
SOUTHWARD is perfect for families or groups of friends, looking to stay together in one property. It is also a fantastic option for couples, small groups/family's, who are looking to stay somewhere special. Southward is also frequently booked as part of a multi-party booking with other properties at Hillside Village.

SOUTHWARD is particularly suitable for those looking for a property that is accessible for those with limited mobility. It on the Ground Floor, all rooms are on a single level, access is via a level threshold at ground level. It is wheelchair friendly. There is a walk-in shower and a shower/bath seat can be provided if required, as we a raised toilet seat. The access from where a car can park is via a path navigable by a wheelchair.
SOUTHWARD enjoys amazing, ever-changing, south facing sea views of the Dyfi (Dovey) estuary, hills, mountains, Cardigan Bay and beyond. Check out the WEBCAM on our website, it is set up to pan from East through South to the West and back again 24/7.

SOUTHWARD'S living area is spacious and open plan, it is split in to two areas the lounge and the dining and kitchen areas, patio windows open out on to the south facing terrace, the amazing ever-changing sea views are experienced from the whole of the living area.
The lounge has two sofas and a feature chair surrounding a coffee table. It has a Smart TV with digital Freeview and a DVD player. Hillside Village has a library of DVDs as well as books for guests to borrow.
The dining kitchen area overlooks the terrace and the sea views beyond, the dining part has seating round a oak and granite table for 6 comfortably. It has the following integrated appliances Dishwasher, Fridge and Freezer, Electric fan oven and hob. There is plenty of storage space and kitchen equipment with matching utensils for 8.
The terrace is gated, the paved area is with shrub boarders.
SOUTHWARD has three Bedrooms sleeping 6 as follows:
Bedroom 1 - A double with chest of drawers, bedside tables, and built-in wardrobe. Sea Views over estuary and beyond.
Bedroom 2 - A Twin, with chest of drawers, bedside tables, and built-in wardrobe.
Bedroom 3- A Twin with chest of drawers, bedside tables, and wardrobe.
THE TWO BATH / SHOWER ROOMS
SOUTHWARD has a spacious Family Bathroom. The shower room has a large walk-in shower. Both have accessibility features see paragraph below.
ACCESS AND PARKING
SOUTHWARD parking is in the Guest Car Park, two parking spaces can be provided for Southward, additional parking spaces subject to availability, however only one parking space will be provided unless guests specifically request otherwise. Southward’s position and how it is accessed is shown on the Hillside Village Map 2023. Our golf buggy can transport your luggage on arrival and departure to/from the Guest Car Park and a few yards from Southward front door, just let us know on arrival.

Generally in respect of all our properties the lounges are comfortably furnished with settees and armchairs, coffee tables and TV with free-to-air digital. Beds are made up prior to arrival, with pillows, duvets and all bed linen (no bath or hand towels are provided). Whether properties have more than one bath / shower room and its content is specified for each property on their page. All kitchens are equipped with electric or gas hobs & ovens, microwave ovens, toasters, automatic kettles, refrigerator, most have separate freezers and a comprehensive range of cooking utensils. All utility costs are inclusive. Washing machines and dryers are in the guest laundrette off the Terrace Lounge.
Wi-Fi and Smart TVs - We know that being able to connect to the outside world is part of life today and particularly important for families to have a Wi-Fi network they can connect to for their children. We are pleased to say that with a combination of our Superfast Broadband network and recently installed EE 5G hubs connected to a 5G transmitter in line of sight across the estuary, through our Wi-Fi numerous access points you can get a good service. We are in the process of making all our TV's, Smart TVs we will update the individual property pages with specific details. In addition to EE having a 5G service, all the other networks provide good 4G indoor and outside service to us.
We have several properties that are accessible for those with restricted mobility, and can provide shower or bath seats. For young families cots and high chairs are available. It is a wonderful place for just relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet and the ever-changing views.
